Johnny was a true delight to photograph. In for his one year old portraits (his parents also took advantage of the Little Cupcake Photography Baby Plan), Johnny was great in front of the camera and a true delight. Johnny had, without a doubt, the longest hair I have ever seen on a one year old.

Jack, who is on the Little Cupcake Photography Baby Plan, came in for his one year old portraits recently. Wow! He was a ball of energy! Non-stop moving around and full of enthusiasm, Jack made it a really fun session.

I first met beautiful Abby for her newborn photoshoot when she was just 10 days old. I have had the pleasure of taking her portraits every year around her birthday. She just celebrated her third birthday, and is growing into such an energetic and wonderful little girl. Happy birthday Abby!

Capturing a newborn’s elegant peacefulness. Seeing a young child warm up to the camera after initially being camera shy. Witnessing the pure excitement during a maternity shoot of soon to be first time parents. Those are among the greatest rewards of being a photographer.
Also high on that list is working with families that come to me for portraits as their families grow. Being able to see a young child who I had photographed earlier in its life is a real treat for me, and very special.
I recently had the chance to take beautiful Maeve’s (I love that name) newborn pictures. She is the daughter of a repeat client that I adore, and is the new baby sister to older brother Brendan, who’s portraits I have had the pleasure of taking several times in his young life. As always, Brendan was a pro in front of the camera and showed his baby sis just how it’s done, which made it easy to get some truly beautiful newborn pictures.
